In a world that grows more uncertain by the day, how do you find clarity? Many leaders, clients, and friends I speak with feel this tension—and it’s at the heart of Wise Wednesdays. Navigating uncertainty has been a central theme in my work, whether it’s career leaps, visionary leadership, or relationship dynamics—and it’s something I’ve been exploring in writing and speaking since 2016. How can we access wisdom, clarity, and vision amid the chaos of modern life?
Occasionally, I refer to it as ‘cultivating our relationship with the unseen.' This exploration spans spirituality, metaphysics, health, personal development, and even a bit of quantum physics, blending insights to expand our wisdom. Visionaries, changemakers, and (R)Evolutionaries like you will likely recognise this journey as their own.
Rather than adding to the conversation, I’d like to offer a curated collection of past Wise Wednesdays on this topic. Think of these as a travel pack of maps, tools, and reflections to draw from as you navigate uncertainty in your own career and life adventures.
Here are 9 Wise Wednesdays exploring uncertainty to work, lead, and live with more presence, power, and possibility-making:
Interestingly, I've noticed that I've written fewer articles on uncertainty as the years have gone by—perhaps a sign of finding comfort in this new phase of life and work. Yet, over the past year, I've felt a renewed longing for fluidity and possibility, missing the deeper fulfilment that risk and experimentation bring. It might be time to step out of comfort and dance into uncertainty with the world.
As African sages say, ‘to find your way, you must become lost.’ And as Eckhart Tolle puts it, ‘to know, you must first not know.’
What if, by leaning into uncertainty, the truest path is revealed? What might you discover about your next step?
Have a wonderful week,Amina
